Ateneo de Naga HS Batch ’80 Sponsored Community Outreach Programs
Consistent with the vision and mission of the Silver Jubilarians, HS Batch ’80 scheduled a series of community-based outreach programs.
Last June 12, 2005, Barangay San Francisco of Naga City was chosen as the pilot barangay where the community outreach project was initially launched. The Barangay Council spearheaded by its Chairman, Mr. Matias Oliva, gracefully received the alumni group. Batch ‘80 members who are practitioners in the same fields discussed specific topics on health and sanitation, family planning and waste disposal system. Drs. Nestor Berja and Joey Pilapil, both members of HS batch ’80, assisted and gave medical attention to an octogenarian resident who is bed-ridden due to a domestic accident.

Next among the programs that are in the pipeline lined-up for next month are the “Prostate Awareness Campaign” and “Sakat-Isarog Environmental Awareness Campaign”.
