Summer Picnic Celebration
Its summer and what a way to start it off than a picnic with the company of good friends and good food!
The ADNAA Northeast chapter welcomed summer as well as the Fourth of July with a small but fun-filled picnic gathering. Dr. and Mrs. Boboy and Nilda Largoza graciously hosted this get-together at home in Upper Saddle, New Jersey. It was a wonderfully pleasant day and 12 members together with some friends were in attendance, not to mention Jojo Borja’s very well behaved, 8 month-old dark brown pet dog named “Mayon”. Of course, a picnic would not be complete without the food! The food served was a mixture of Fil-American tastes: bratwurst, pork kebobs, lechon kawali, stuffed bangus, daing na bangus, pakbet, salad, corn on the cob, pineapple, cantaloupes, mangoes with bagoong, the famous Tony Rojano “Mani” and all the beers, soda, and refreshments you can drink.
While having fun, this active alumni group still managed to talk about business. They discussed about the forth-coming election of officers this year. Boojie Amador is in charge and they agreed to hold the election during their Peñafrancia Fiesta Celebration: ”Ateneo Night” on September 16, 2005.
