Five Ateneans Awarded as “Hot Shots” during the Kaogma Festival

The whole province of Camarines Sur celebrated the “Kaogma Festival” to mark its 426th Foundation anniversary. On its 18th year, this festival has evolved into a grand Bicolano tradition epitomizing the true Bicolano spirit by showcasing the best of the best of Camarines Sur in various fields.

One of the highlights of the weeklong festival was the “Hotshots Awards”. This award featured our very own Bicolanos with outstanding achievements in the fields of Arts and Culture, Government/Public Service, Military Service, Entertainment, Music, Business, Media, Education, Fashion/ Beauty Pageant and Sports. Among the eighteen awardees, five ateneans proudly bagged the “hot shots” plaques of recognition given by Camarines Sur Governor L-Ray Villafuerte and Vice-Governor Sal Fortuno, last May 21, 2005 at Provincial Capitol of Camarines Sur.

The following are Ateneo de Naga’s very own “hotshots” awardees:
